Tragedy Posted on Apr 16, 2007, 20:57 by Squeakytoad
No doubt most of you have heard of what went on earlier at Virginia Tech. It's an immensely sad day for all those of Virginia Tech and their families.
I won't be stating any facts in this post, as most facts of the situation haven't been confirmed, but most major news sources are covering it, so I recommend you read about it for yourself.
If you happen to go to Virginia Tech, hopefully you're alright and will contact your families as soon as possible to calm their fears. Most of the dead and some of the injured have not yet been identified. We can't even imagine what Virginia Tech students' families are going through.
We can only offer our condolences and prayers for the students and their friends and family.
Happy First Birthday! Posted on Mar 11, 2007, 12:37 by Sui
As of yesterday, this site officially has been up for an entire year. In just one year's time, we've become a community of almost 1500 members with over 200,000 posts in the forums. Fire Emblem Empires has become a highly popular text based web game, and the main site continues to hold lots of very nice information about all we love about Fire Emblem. While I don't know specifically is in store for this next year, I can promise you that we do have several large things planned that you're all sure to love.
So happy first birthday, Fire Emblem World! May this next year treat us as well as the past year has.
Fire Emblem 10 US Release Date Announced! Posted on Feb 09, 2007, 22:32 by Sui
I'm completely unaware as to when this date was actually announced, but I found it just a couple of minutes ago, and no one seemed to know about it yet, so I figured I'd make an announcement telling people.
With the release of Fire Emblem: Akatsuki no Megami for the Nintendo Wii coming up in Japan on the 22nd of this month, US fans have been eagerly awaiting a release date for the game to be localized. Fairly recently, this release date was announced to be June 1st, 2007. It is also fairly likely that the US name for the game will be "The Goddess of Dawn", as seen by this screenshot of the supposed US game case on Gamespot here.
Again, I'm unaware as to when this was actually announced, but seeing as how most people seemed unaware of it, I figured I'd make an announcement. For more information on the game, see Wikipedia for a fairly decent page as to what to expect in the game. Once the game comes out in Japan later this month, we'll be able to fully see what to expect out of the game.
